NAMPA, Idaho -- A man suffered minor injuries when he was hit by two motorcyclists reportedly racing at high speeds Thursday night on a Nampa road.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on South Powerline Road just north of East Amity Avenue. A KTVB photographer out covering high school football in the area arrived just after the incident happened.
Nampa's Enrico Milobatt says the pair of motorcyclists side-swiped him as he was retrieving a hand dolly from his pickup truck and boat trailer.
"Two bikers were coming down here," Milobatt explained. "I guess they were racing, and the first one barely nicked me in the back. And I seen the other one -- he hit my boat."
Milobatt says after the first motorcyclist hit him, he tried to jump into his truck, and that's when the second motorcyclist hit his boat. Milobatt says the impact caused him to flip into the air and land on the ground.
"I jumped in my truck, and he hit me from my waist down, I guess," Milobatt said.
Milobatt was on crutches when we talked to him.
The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man from Nampa, was taken to the hospital with serious injurious.
The other motorcyclist left the scene, and police are working to identify him.
The Nampa Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
