MERIDIAN -- Authorities have identified a 35-year-old Nampa man who died after a rollover crash in Meridian on Tuesday.
Shane Lee Peterson died of blunt force trauma as a result of a motor vehicle accident, according to Ada County Coroner Erwin L. Sonnenberg.
Police say Peterson's truck rolled at approximately 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on Chinden Boulevard just west of North Tree Farm Way. The crash was reported by a driver who saw it in his rearview mirror.
When deputies arrived, they found Peterson had been ejected from his Toyota Tacoma pickup.
The 35-year-old was taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise where he was pronounced dead at 9:24 p.m.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the crash.
