Oregon State Police are looking for information about a car that may have been part of an injury crash that happened on Interstate 84 Monday afternoon east of The Dalles.
The crash critically injured a 69-year-old Chuong Ngoc Du of Hermiston, Oregon.
According to witness information, a black late model Nissan Maxima with Idaho license plates made a quick, possibly intentional move closely in front of a 2001 Toyota Camry, causing Du to lose control.
The car crashed through a guardrail and traveled about 30 feet down a rocky embankment and landed in a slough. Du was taken by helicopter to a hospital in The Dallas, and then later flown to a hospital in Portland.
The Nissan was believed to be occupied by two people and was last seen traveling east. The driver was a white male.
Anyone with information is asked to call OSP at 541-296-9646.
