BOISE -- A Boise man is being charged with stealing hundreds of golf clubs from Eagle homes.

The investigation started back in April, and has since led to more than 25 reports of stolen golf sets.

The high-end clubs were taken from homes near Banbury Golf Course, or from homes in subdivisions near Highway 55 and Floating Feather.

Eagle Police started monitoring golf club sales on Craigslist, which led them to 31-year-old Stephan Northness.

He admitted to stealing them after police found multiple stolen clubs in his possession.
