Man busted after going on a rage at Boise motel

BOISE -- A Twin Falls man is in the Ada County Jail in connection with vandalism at a Boise motel.

Boise Police arrested 27-year-old Jacob T. Dial late Sunday night.

Employees at the EconoLodge on Fairview Avenue called police at about 10 p.m. saying a man had become angry at the staff, thrown several items from the counter at one of the employees, and destroyed other items in the lobby before running away.

When Dial returned the the motel, police arrested him on charges of malicious injury to property, assault and an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
