BOISE -- Idaho Lottery officials are looking for another big Powerball winner.
Someone bought a ticket that matched the first five numbers of Wednesday night’s Powerball draw, but did not match the Powerball itself, making it worth $200,000. This ticket does not have the PowerPlay multiplier.
The winning numbers for last night’s Powerball draw were 04, 23, 31, 42, 50 and the Powerball number was 23.
“Idaho is one of the luckiest places to play Powerball right now, especially in eastern Idaho where all four of our big winners have been sold in the past five months,” said Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson.
Lottery officials say Powerball players should check their ticket carefully and sign the back of your ticket immediately if you are a winner.
In the past 15 months, six of the last eight $200,000 or higher Powerball winners have been sold in eastern Idaho. Last night’s winner has 180 days to claim their prize.
There was no jackpot winner Wednesday night, so the Powerball jackpot for Saturday night’s draw is an estimated $171 million.
