EAGLE -- Businesses across the Treasure Valley are cheering on Team USA, and some are offering unique places where fans can watch the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Want to watch the games outside? Try viewing from the 12-foot projector set up outside at the Eagle Terrain Park.

That's not the only place where you can watch on a larger-than-life screen.

Buffalo Wild Wings and nearby Big Al's in Meridian are planning to broadcast all Olympic coverage, when possible.

"We'll be showing anything that's broadcast live during our hours of operation and the replays as well," said Michael Foster, bar manager at Buffalo Wild Wings in Meridian.  "Especially Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, we're open until 1 a.m., so if they've got live events on, we'll have them here."

At Buffalo Wild Wings, you can request a specific event to watch while you eat. The restaurant has more than 50 screens. Managers say the games come at just the right time.

The Winter Olympics will actually be a great bridge for us from going from football season into the Winter Olympics, and then from that on to March Madness," said Foster.

Over at Big Al's in Meridian, a wall of windows to the Olympic games awaits.

“To get 300 or 400 of your fellow Americans in the same place screaming and yelling at Team USA, it's absolutely electric, so it's going to be just a really awesome, awesome atmosphere over the next few weeks," said John O'Donnell, marketing coordinator for Big Al’s.

"Our screen is the biggest in the valley, 55-foot wide screen, all high definition," said O’Donnell.

Of course, these are only a few of the places you can watch the Sochi Winter Olympics. Check with your favorite local place to see what they have planned.
