EAGLE -- Light signals on Idaho 44 will be turned off at a few intersections on Tuesday night.

Idaho Transportation Department officials say they expect to have them shut-off from 9 p.m. on Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, at the intersections at Linder Road, Park Lane and Fisher Park Way.

Officials also say traffic will be narrowed down to a single lane throughout the night, and they will set up flaggers to help direct drivers.

The overnight change is part of ITD's Idaho 44 improvement project, expected to be finished by early October.

Officials are asking drivers that travel regularly on this stretch of road to slow down and pay extra attention to construction workers. They also advise drivers to plan extra time to move through that area, or to use different roads altogether.
