MERIDIAN -- Three Idaho veterans were honored Wednesday for their service.
Congressman Raul Labrador presented Rudiger Lotz with five medals, including the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Lotz served in the U.S. Army 15th Administration Company during the Vietnam War.
"To be honored at all since I'm a Vietnam veteran, it really made me feel proud," said Lotz. "I'm a naturalized citizen, so it means even more to me that would honor me for service to my country."
Charles Wiley Monger and Wayne Joseph Bennett were awarded posthumously for their service in World War II. Their families were on hand to collect the awards.
