BOISE -- Police say 18-year-old Tyrick Trey Bell of Kuna likely used a handgun to rob a Boise convenience store shortly after midnight on Sunday.
According to Boise Police, the robbery happened near Boise and Protest Streets shortly after 12 a.m. Officers say that's when Bell allegedly walked out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash after waving a handgun and demanding money.
Officers arrested Bell a short time later after a short foot chase through a residential area near Kootenai and Columbus Streets.
According to BPD, Bell was also allegedly intoxicated, and gave officers a false name.
He was transported to the Ada County jail and charged with felony robbery, resisting arrest, falsifying information to police, and underage consumption of alcohol.
