BOISE -- Four KTVB news anchors went on a wild shopping spree Wednesday morning.
Fred Meyer graciously opened its doors again so we could grab toys for kids in need. And grab we did -- as fast as we could.
This year, Fred Meyer increased its donation of toys to $6,000.
Why? Because there is so much more of a need.
You can help out the cause by "Stuffing the Bus" this Saturday at any Fred Meyer store.
ValleyRide buses will be there between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., so that you can help "stuff the bus."
The toy shopping spree is an annual event for the Channel 7 anchor team, and a bit of a competition between Mark Johnson, Carolyn Holly, Dee Sarton and Kim Fields.
This year Mark Johnson won the contest.
But the bottom line is -- the real winners are the kids who will receive these toys and gifts for Christmas.
