EAGLE -- Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Ada County deputies responded to a two-car injury crash near Highway 16 and Beacon Light Drive in Eagle.

A white Buick sedan had struck a mini-van that was attempting to cross Highway 16 heading from Star to Eagle. The female driver of the Buick and her passenger, both in their 20s were transported by ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. They both received minor injuries and are expected to be released from the hospital late Thursday or early Friday.

The driver of the minivan, a man in his 20s, was also transported by ambulance to St. Al's, but has since been released.

Additionally, the minivan had one passenger who was on the side of the car the Buick hit. She was flown by air ambulance to St Al's with injuries that were considered possibly life threatening. Deputies tell KTVB she is awake, doing well and will most likely be released sometime Friday.

Authorities are still investigating the crash but say charges may be filed.
