BOISE -- Two Canyon County deputies who were shot in the line of duty were honored Saturday before Boise State's match-up against Colorado State.
Deputies Brad Childers and Mike Roth each received a football autographed by Boise State head coach Chris Petersen.
Childers and Roth were both shot multiple times during a standoff with a wanted man on October 23. Amazingly, both men were out of the hospital within days.
The deputies tell KTVB that they feel blessed and are appreciative of the outpouring of support they've received.
