BOISE -- If anyone knows the importance of being healthy, it's Idaho's golden girl and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Kristin Armstrong.
Armstrong was one of the guest speakers Thursday at Highlands Elementary School in Boise.
She helped kick-off the school's new program "Fuel Up to Play 60," where kids are encouraged to eat healthy and exercise 60 minutes a day.
"I don't come out here and try to lecture them, but I do come out here and try to share my story that I had fun being active and eating healthy and I think as long as we can teach our kids to have fun while doing it, it's not a big problem," said Armstrong.
"Fuel Up to Play 60" is a nationwide program, and is sponsored locally by the United Dairymen of Idaho.
