BOISE -- One person was flown to the hospital after two motorcycles collided on the Bank to Lowman Highway Sunday afternoon.

Idaho State Police say the accident happened just after noon near mile marker 26, west of Lowman.

Police say William McNair Jr., 46, of Greenville, S.C., was westbound on a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he drifted out of his lane and into oncoming traffic while rounding a corner.

His bike clipped an eastbound 2006 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Susan Bendickson, 54, of Priest River, Idaho, causing her to crash.

Bendickson was flown by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Police have not released her condition. McNair was not taken to a hospital.

Idaho State Police say both drivers were wearing helmets. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
