It is widely considered the world's most prestigious scholarship and now an Idahoan has been appointed to the equally prestigious position as CEO of the Rhodes Scholarship.

Ketchum's Charles Conn, a Harvard MBA graduate, becomes the first American to head up the 110-year old Rhodes House at Oxford University.

Conn co-founded the online city guide City Search and recently has focused on large scale conservation projects as a senior advisor for a major conservation-based foundation.

He takes over in London in June.

And a word to his friends in the Wood River Valley, "Sir" Charles might be the appropriate way to address Mr. Conn from here on.
