NEW MEADOWS - Police say bad weather played a role in a deadly crash on Highway 95 Thursday night.

The crash happened north of New Meadows around 7:45 p.m.

Idaho State Police say William Kendrick, 68, of Bullhead, Arizona, hit ice and freezing rain causing his vehicle to go off the road, hit an embankment and roll.

His wife, Judy Kendrick, was taken to McCall Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Both were wearing seatbelts.
