BOISE -- Idaho wheat exporters expect to ink a $484 million deal with a collective of Taiwanese companies next week.
Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter will preside over the ceremony on Monday morning, which is expected to see a contract for two years worth of wheat exports from Idaho to the Taiwan Flour Mills Association.
Taiwanese dignitaries will join Idaho officials to sign the agreement in Governor Otter's ceremonial office.
Idaho exported more than $755 million in wheat to Taiwan in 2012, according to the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.
