MERIDIAN -- A ground breaking was held in Meridian today for a new home. What is special about this home is that all proceeds raised from the sale will be donated to the Boise Rescue Mission.

The home is being built by Hubble Homes. The company organized the project which they are calling "Hubble Homes to the Rescue," as a way to give back to the community that has given to them over the years.

The new home to be constructed will be one of Hubble Homes' most popular plans and will consist of four bedrooms and two baths.

In addition to Hubble donating the money from the sale of the home, many vendors and trades have also offered their services or materials at no cost for the project.

This donation will help fund the Rescue Mission's Nampa Lighthouse homeless shelter project.
