BOISE -- Three alleged drug dealers are behind bars after police say they caught them with several packets of heroin, along with drug paraphernalia, during a Tuesday afternoon traffic stop. Police say the incident happened near Maple Grove and Emerald Streets in Boise.
Boise Police arrested 23-year-old Charles D. Englund-Lim of Meridian, 22-year-old Holly A. Arnold of Boise, and 26-year-old Cory J. Stone of Boise. All suspects have been charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance. Arnold and Stone were additionally charged with felony injury to a child.
That's because, according to BPD Spokesman Chuck McClure, the couple had a small child under the age of two in the car with them. McClure says officers determined that the couple had used drugs and been involved in sales of the controlled substance in front of the child.
The child was subsequently turned over to the Idaho Dept. of Health and Welfare.
Mclure says the BANDIT Task Force investigated the alleged drug dealers for several months, tracking them since early February.
The Task Force includes Detectives from the Boise Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agency and the Idaho National Guard.
