BOISE -- Boise's golden girl Kristin Armstrong took time out of her day, Saturday to sign autographs and meet some of her fans.
Standing outside the Vandal Store in Downtown Boise - Armstrong smiled for pictures with hundreds of fans.
Edu Sarria made it a point to bring his daughters.
"Just to show my girls that, you know, if they put their mind to it they can do pretty much anything they want. Here's Kristin who won the first Gold and kind of retired, had a child, put her mind back into it and went to London and became the best time trialist in the world," Sarria said.
Armstrong signed posters for two hours during the Capital City Public Market.
Joe Vandal also made an appearance - signing autographs for his fans as well.
