MERIDIAN -- Utility workers responded to a gas leak near Franklin Road and Ward Avenue just after noon.

Exactly what caused the leak isn't clear, according to Ada County dispatchers. However, a section of Franklin Road was blocked for more than two hours while crews fixed the issue.

Authorities say the leak wasn't cause for emergency.

The intersection of Linder Road and Franklin Road, along with intersection of Franklin Road and Ten Mile Road were both blocked. The leak was fixed by 2:15 p.m. and the intersections reopened.
