GARDEN CITY -- The Walmart store on Glenwood and State streets in Garden City was evacuated shortly before 3 p.m. after an employee received a bomb threat from 22-year-old Mitch Pryor, of Nampa, according to Garden City Police.

Officials say Pryor told the employee the store would blow up in an hour.

Police responding to the store reportedly evacuated the store, but say they didn't find any dangerous materials.

During the investigation, police charged Pryor with making a false report of explosives at Walmart.

Due to the nature of the threat and that it happened on the infamous date of 9/11, police and store managers took the threat seriously.

Customers were allowed back in the store shortly after 4 p.m.

Pryor will be arraigned Wednesday at the Ada County Courthouse.
