FORT HALL, Idaho -- A bomb threat at the Fort Hall Casino led to the evacuation of about 600 people form 13 buildings, others form residences within a quarter mile, and the closing of both the north and southbound exits into Fort Hall on Interstate-15.
Officials say the bomb threat was made to the casino at about 4:40 p.m. Friday. The area was declared safe about three hours later with the help of bomb-sniffing dogs.
The Pocatello Police, Idaho Falls Police and Fort Hall Police departments took part in responding to the threat.
A previous bomb threat on Wednesday also led to evacuations of buildings at and around the Tribal Business Center.
The Shoshone-Bannock tribes say the FBI is helping with an investigation.
