BOISE -- Budding entrepreneurs in Boise are in search for sound businesses advice.

Dozens packed into the Crux Coffee House Tuesday night to learn more about starting up a business in the Treasure Valley.

Keynote speaker was Apple veteran Rick LeFaivre, who spent years as an executive with Apple Computer's Advanced Technology Group.

LeFaivre recently moved to Sun Valley, and is now trying to create a strong business ecosystem.

"Young people today want to find a good work-life balance, and so people are getting tired of the rat race in San Fran or the rain and traffic in Seattle. And so a lot of people are looking to places like Boise and even little old Sun Valley, because they want to live there. They want to be skiing in 10 minutes, but they also want to build a company," said LeFaivre.

Tuesday night's event was presented by StartupBoise.
