BOISE -- After all the rain we've had the last few days, many people took advantage of Saturday's sunshine.
At Parkcenter Pond in Boise, the Boise Sunset Lions Club held their annual fishing derby.
Kids as well as their parents were able to fish for prizes.
"The community has really stepped up and shown their support for the Sunset Lions Club and the Sight Hearing Foundation today, and it's been great," said Jay Witt with the Boise Sunset Lions Club. "I think people have been catching all sorts of fish."
The fishing derby helped raise money for the Boise Sunset Lions Club as well as the Sight and Hearing Foundation, an organization that helps pay for eye surgeries and hearing aids for those in need.
