KUNA -- Fire at a Kuna home prompted a school evacuation Monday afternoon.
It happened just after noon on South Ten Mile Road about 50 yards south of Falcon Ridge Charter School.
As a precaution, kids were moved to a playground on the other side of the school from the fire.
The fire was out by the time our photographer arrived, but the principal told us he saw a lot of smoke.
"Just a good neighbor that we had near the school. Don't know a lot about the house, a lot of history. It's just unfortunate that he's having to go through this," said Principal Mark Green
The man who lives in the house was not injured.
Kuna Rural Fire District Battalion Chief Doyle McPherson says the fire was contained to the attic area.
