BOISE -- A van carrying a family of seven rolled on Interstate 84 early Monday morning.
Idaho State Police says the van rolled into the median just after 4 a.m. near New Plymouth.
There were five children and two adults in the van. ISP does not know what caused the accident but investigators say it appears the driver was drowsy or falling asleep.
The roads in the area were dry.
"It's probably a good opportunity to remind people when they're traveling this holiday season to pull off the road, get a motel," said Sgt. John Burke, Idaho State Police. "Don't take a chance of something like this happening. So, if you get drowsy, you feel like you can't drive, just pull off and get a hotel."
The family suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, Oregon.
