BOISE -- The body of an Idaho soldier who was killed in Afghanistan last week arrived in Boise Saturday night.
Private First Class Shane Wilson was just 20 years old. He graduated from Kuna High in 2011.
Wilson died on Oct. 18th in Khost, Afghanistan, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
An honorable transfer ceremony was held at Gowen Field soon after the plane carrying Wilson's body arrived around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Well wishers of Wilson are invited to attend his funeral at the Ten Mile Christian Church in Meridian. The service begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
This will be followed immediately with a ceremony at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery.
