BOISE - This Mother's Day will be a happier one for some moms and kids who struggle to afford the extras in life - thanks to a special team effort.

Boise's dressbarn is working with Big Brothers Big Sisters to give the kids a little gift money.

10 kids from the program each get $50 to spend at dressbarn on a Mother's Day gift.

The store manager says they feel very honored to be able to participate in the program, and help moms feel beautiful on their special day.

Elliana went looking for the perfect gift, with her mom's taste in mind, "She likes cool designs, lots of colors, but not crazy colors like that skirt."

Elliana's big sister Sydney helped her shop today.

Elliana told us she found the perfect gift, and feels special being able to go shopping and buy something for her mom.

Nation-wide, dressbarn is working with more than 100 different organizations.
