BOISE -- A mountain lion that attacked two dogs int he Boise foothills Monday afternoon was never located, but it's victims - two dogs - are still suffering from injuries.

Read about the attack here.

The dogs' owner says both Kenna and his other animal companion, are expected to recover, but Kenna will need surgery, as she suffered many puncture marks left by the mountain lion.

The attack happened on Corrals Trail, off Bogus Basin Road, while the owner was mountain biking.

We checked with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and they haven't had any reported sightings of the mountain lion since this attack.
