POCATELLO -- A Pocatello dentist facing Medicaid fraud charges has apparently reached a plea agreement.
The Idaho State Journal reports the Idaho Attorney General's office charged Carl B. Holm in August with grand theft and five counts of Medicaid fraud for charging for medical services that he either didn't provide, were already paid for or were not medically necessary.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday before 6th District Judge Stephen Dunn.
Last month, Holm waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over to District Court. At that time, court records indicated an agreement had been reached for Holm to plead guilty to one count of Medicaid fraud. In exchange, the other charges would be dismissed, he would be spend three years on probation and pay $10,000 in restitution.
