BOISE -- A man has died after an SUV was hit by a semi Saturday morning on Interstate 84.
Idaho State Police says just before 9:30 a.m., Nampa woman Janice Parma was driving her 2004 Nissan Xterra westbound on I-84. She lost control in the icy conditions and crossed through the median into eastbound traffic in Caldwell. The SUV was hit by a semi truck, throwing passenger Norberto Parma from the car. He died at the scene. Janice Parma was taken to St. Lukes in Nampa.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
All lanes are now open.
