BOISE -- The Nampa Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the area of Southside Boulevard and East Locust Lane in Nampa, Saturday afternoon.
Battlion Chief May says the fire was around 10 acres and close to homes, but none were threatened.
A brush truck from Upper Deer Flat Fire Department and an engine from Kuna responded to the fire, in addition to several trucks and engines from Nampa Fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
