NAMPA -- Drivers heading through Nampa in the next few weeks will want to keep in mind some road construction scattered throughout the area.
On Monday, W. Karcher Road between Northside Boulevard and Ten Lane will be reduced to one lane in each direction while crews install underground utilities. The project is estimated to wrap up on July 27.
Also on Monday, W. Roosevelt Avenue between S. Midland Boulevard and S. Canyon Street will be closed to through traffic. Drivers there should use Lone Star Road as detour. Crews in that area will work on underground utilities and paving the road. That project is scheduled to be done around July 23.
Drivers should also be aware that flaggers will take over operation of the intersection at 11th Avenue South & 7th Street South from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Crews there are working on the overhead signals.
