PORTLAND, Ore. -- A Baker City couple is dead following a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 84 two miles northwest of North Powder.

Oregon State Police trooper Travis Moody says that 79-year-old Richard Lee Collier was heading east Sunday night on the interstate when he went off the right shoulder for an undetermined reason and rolled.

He says that both Collier and his 75-year-old wife Ernestine Mae were not using safety restraints and were ejected from their 1998 Dodge pickup.  Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

North Powder is between La Grande and Baker City.
