BOISE -- The Ada County coroner has released the identity of a teenager girl who died from injuries she suffered in a crash on Highway 16 last week.

Coroner Erwin Sonnenberg says 16-year-old Shauna Hill died from blunt force trauma from a motor vehicle collision on Dec. 10. She was wearing a seat belt.

The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 16 and Floating Feather Road. Police say Hill was westbound on Floating Feather Road, stopped at the stop sign, then continued forward.

She was then hit by another driver going north on Highway 16. Hill and her passenger were taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise. Hill died from her injuries on Tuesday.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holy Apostle Catholic Church in Meridian.
