Woman Arrested after accident on I-84
An accident and fuel spill this afternoon shut down a portion of the interstate to allow crews to clean up.
Idaho State Police says the accident happened around 3:15 p.m on I-84 near New Plymouth when Maria Arreola-Cisneros from Caldwell hit the the drivers side of a semitruck.
The impact of the crash caused a leak in the fuel take of the semitruck, spilling upwards of 75 gallons onto the freeway.
Crews blocked the the right lane for three hours while they cleaned up.
Police arrested Arreola-Cisneros for Inattentive Driving and Driving without privileges.
