CALDWELL -- Caldwell Police are investigating a stabbing death that happened early Saturday morning in a mobile home park off East Ustick.
Police say they went to the park around 4:20 a.m. for a reported stabbing and found a 19-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.
Officers gave the man CPR until paramedics got there, but the victim died.
Witnesses told police they possibly heard a fight outside around the time of the stabbing. One of the witnesses who heard the fight went outside to see what was happening and found the victim.
Silvia Rizo lives across the street from where the stabbing happened and said she woke up around 4:30 a.m. and watched out her window.
"I went to bed around two, and I woke up because I saw the [flashing] lights," Rizo said. "I looked through the window, and I saw all the police cars and everything. But we don't know, really, what happened."
Rizo watched the crime investigation throughout the morning and said with four kids, she can't help but worry about their safety.
"All the kids, I think they may be in danger because it's been a lot of things going on in here," Rizo said.
Rizo said in the last few weeks there's been vandalism in the neighborhood, people slashing tires.
"It was a really nice place to live, but now it's getting busy with all these things in here," Rizo said. "We're really thinking seriously to move out of this town because it's getting really bad."
There are no specific suspects in the homicide at this time.
The victim has been identified, but his name has not yet been released.
