BOISE -- A busy west Boise intersection has a new look.

The Ada County Highway District dedicated the rebuilt intersection at Cloverdale and Ustick roads Friday morning.

The $3.8 million project added sidewalks and bike lanes, as well as new lanes for cars and trucks.

The Cloverdale-Ustick intersection handles 2,800 vehicles a day. That volume is expected to more than double by the year 2030.

ACHD President Rebecca Arnold says the changes will make it easier for everyone to get around.

The city of Boise plans to install landscaping near the intersection in the near future.
