BUHL, Idaho -- A Buhl man has been charged with sexually abusing an infant.

The Twin Falls Times-News reports Miguel Angel Medina-Mariscal originally was arrested on charges of watching pornography in the presence of an infant. He is now charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under 16.

It was not immediately clear when the alleged abuse happened.

Medina-Mariscal is also wanted on two California warrants, one a lewd conduct charge and the other connected with possession of a controlled substance.

He is being held at the Twin Falls County Jail on a $1 million bond for his California warrants and a $300,000 bond on the Twin Falls County charge.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11.
