TWIN FALLS, Idaho -- Twin Falls County dispatchers say heavy smoke from a brush fire closed down a major road into Twin Falls for about an hour on Sunday evening .
Dispatchers say the fire broke out around 9 p.m. near Hwy. 93 and Golf Course Road near the north rim of the Snake River Canyon.
Dispatchers tell KTVB that area firefighters worked to battle the flames, which were described as near the entrance to the Perrine Bridge.
Hwy. 93 reopened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
