McCALL, Idaho -- It looks like winter has finally arrived in parts of Idaho.

Brundage Mountain officials report they have received 10 inches of fresh powder since Monday morning at the resort near McCall, and more snow is on the way.

Two inches of snow fell at the 5,800 foot level Monday morning, and by 2 p.m. Tuesday an additional eight inches fell at that level. More than a foot of snow is reported at Brundage Mountain's 7,640 foot summit.

"The slopes have been transformed into a powder paradise, with soft, fluffy conditions from top to bottom," said resort spokesperson April Russell.

Forecasters are calling for an additional 1-2 feet at the base of the mountain, with 3 more feet possible on the upper south and west-facing slopes over the next few days.
