BOISE -- Boise State University has had stadium expansion plans in the works for years and they are about to take those plans to those who can make it happen -- boosters.

Invitations went out to donors and friends for an August 27th evening on the blue and dinner on the practice field with BSU President Bob Kustra and head football coach Chris Petersen.

Boise State said the invitation-only event was to share stadium expansion plans and to kick off fundraising efforts.

Bronco Stadium currently seats just under 34,000, and that could be expanded to around 44,000 by horseshoeing one of the end zones.

Boise State had two sellout crowds in its seven home games last year.
