ELMORE COUNTY -- Officers with the Idaho State Police say two Boise men were found with over six pounds of marijuana and a pistol inside their vehicle.  Police say they discovered the illegal cargo during a traffic stop on interstate 84 on Friday, April 20th near Mountain Home.

According to an ISP news release, 30-year-old Joshua Smith and Anthony T. Buhler had approximately 6.5 pounds of Marijuana, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and a Glock handgun inside the vehicle.

Officers arrested both men on charges of felony drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

Officers estimate the value of the seized marijuana at approximately $16,250.
