BOISE -- Boise Police chased a driver through a residential area near Fairview Avenue Sunday night.

It started around 7:30 p.m. when an officer noticed a speeding driver and started following the car from Fairview and North Liberty Street to Everett and Hartman streets.

Police say the suspect was driving erratically and they feared he would going to hurt someone.

The car eventually hit a wooden fence, a truck and a camper trailer.

The suspect ran from the car while it was still moving and went into a nearby home.

Officers arrested 45-year-old Gary Weeks of Boise and booked him into the Ada County Jail.

He is charged with felony eluding police, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting officers, unlawful entry and driving without privileges.
