BOISE -- Hang on to your float tubes, and get ready for fun on the Boise River!
The official 2013 Boise River floating season starts Friday, June 14. That's when Epley's Boise River Rentals at Barber Park is scheduled to open from Noon until 6 p.m.
Despite word that the river would officially open to floaters on Thursday-- raft and tube rental service has been pushed out to Friday in hopes of better weather.
The forecast for Friday is 73 degrees and sunny. Saturday's and Sunday's high temps are expected in the high 80s.
It's worth noting that before the river "officially" opens for business, crews have to check river flow levels, make sure debris is removed by the Boise Fire Department and that the weather is cooperating.
