After a 15 month expansion and remodel, the Boise Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is opening up to the public.
Since the temple was built in 1984 - only members of the LDS Church in good standing could enter. Starting next month and running for a month, anyone can tour the building on Cole Road near I-84.
"This will be an opportunity to walk through the entire temple," said LDS Church spokesman Brian Whitlock. "They will see everything from the baptistry to other rooms where sacred sacraments are received by members of our church."
The church expects hundreds of thousands of people to attend the open house that runs from October 13th to November 10th.
Starting Saturday morning at 10 a.m., the church will start taking reservations.
