BOISE -- An appeals court in Florence has upheld the guilty verdict against US student Amanda Knox and her ex-boyfriend for the 2007 murder of her British roommate.

After over 10 hours of deliberations Thursday, the court reinstated the guilty verdict first handed down in 2009.

Boise State professor, DNA expert and Director of the Idaho Innocence Project Greg Hampikian helped free Amanda Knox of murder charges in 2011.
