BOISE -- Boise City Hall is about to get a facelift.
The city has decided on three finalists for a public art display.
Officials say the city has to replace a failed water seal underneath the plaza in front of City Hall. To do so, they'll have to tear out everything -- the fountain, the seating, the platform.
So they decided to upgrade the area for both aesthetic and practical reasons.
"There'll be a lot more space for public events, as we grow as a city we do a lot more events out here. We want to have more space for those public events. And we also want to have more things on our plaza that are emblematic of our city," said Karen Bubb, Public Arts Manager.
Part of the new design will include more seating and a new piece of public art.
Three finalists have been chosen and the public will get a chance to weigh in on starting May 11th.
